Mirage Poker Showdown Champion Crowned

Thursday, May 24th, 2007

A new WPT champion emerged yesterday as Jonathan Little took first place, earning $1,066,295. Little also cashed in two preliminary events at the Mirage Poker Showdown.

Louisiana House Passes Bill That Would Allow Poker in Bars

Tuesday, May 15th, 2007

BATON ROUGE — Louisiana lawmakers today gave the ok to a bill that would allow bars and restaurants to host poker tournaments with little or no regulation.
The bill, authored by State Representative Warren Triche, would permit the playing of legal poker in over 6,000 bars and similar business statewide.

Poker.com domain name sells for undisclosed amount in silent auction

Sources are reporting that this highly desirable domain name, recently sold via a silent auction held during the recent Casino Affiliates Convention in Amsterdam, may have sold for upwards of $20 million dollars.
