DNS members, please be more quiet

March 22nd, 2008

If you’re not familiar with the story of DNS member Netakunda, you should be. Without getting into the nitty gritty, here is the story. She had a BAP. She was MIA for a long time (something like a couple of weeks) and given DNS. While the circumstances of her return to PTP are up for debate, she made her return a few hours after ma77th3gr34t won an FTOPS event. What does that have to do with anything? She was invested in that BAP, and was due a huge chunk of change for the investment. When she came back, she admitted she had lost the BAP money. In the end, the solution was that her investors got their money back, and she got the remaining winnings from the score. Pretty good deal for her, if you ask me. Now she wears normal DNS.

So, believe her story or not (she claimed that the FTOPS score was a coincidence and had nothing to do with the timing of her return), this much is clear — she was a roller.

Fast forward to today, when netakunda is trying to sell a BAP, insured for stake back with her own money. She constantly becomes annoyed when people bring up her rolling every time she posts in SO.

Anyone reading my posts knows how annoyed I was with the situation at the time. So here’s my blanket statement to DNS members who have not gotten to FDNS. Be quiet. Most of us are not interested in your opinion until you have proven you are a contributing member who doesn’t plan to roll us again. Go ahead and stake, try to run BAPs, etc. But please don’t act like we owe you anything other than flaming in Shooting Off.

Thread: WSOP BAP for David Levi (Buy a Piece)

    Poster: theperfectchip

Hello. My name is Erez. i am a friend of David Levi of las Vegas.
i have been asked by David to run a BAP for the 2008 WSOP season.
we will try to raise a total of $50K for this years WSOP which will include stake back.
David Levi is a pro poker player that lives in las Vegas full time. anyone can Google his name and find out his stats.
proof of identity will be provided upon request to any staker with a min of $100 stake.
i think that once you read Davids stats, they will speak for them selfs.
no housing or travel expenses will be deducted from this BAP as David is a local resident of Las Vegas.
shares will be $10 each. if not all the funds are raised then the BAP total will be lowerd. Should David cash in any event prior to the end of the WSOP this funds will be used towards other events during the WSOP. David isn’t so good with computers and that is the reason i am running this for him. i will be in Las Vegas for the whole duration of the WSOP and so i will be the one editing the rail and updating the figures on a daily bases.
David normaly plays all the events that he can anyways, and so if not enough funds are raised he will play the BAPs tournaments until the funds run out (assuming there are no cashes) and then play with his own money. any tournament played will be posted prior to the tournament start and all backers will be informed if the tournament is included or not.
2007 was a good year for David. he has cashed in more then $800K in winnings and is looking to have a better year in 2008.
Why is David looking for backers. call it superstition but David believes that when he plays with his own money he looses, but playing a staked game he wins. might sound stupid to most but its true. i personally witnessed him win 3rd place at the Mandaley Bay WPT in 2007. and several others including is late finish at the $50K horse event in 2006. his late finish at the WPT 5 star at the Bellagio in 2007 and his 121st place finish at the WSOP 2007 Main Event. in march of 2007 he finished 1st place at one of the Wynns events. To make a long story short (and its a very long story) go to www.cardplayer.com and search David Levi. stats will speak for them selfs.
anyone who is interested in proof of identity thats investing a min of $100 can PM me with what kind of proof they want and i will set it up.. any kind of proof.
all funds can be shipped to Erezo on stars or fulltilt and must be recieved prior to May 15th as i do need to cash it all out and travel to Vegas to make it in time. I am a Canadian resident.
One again. i remind everyone. Proof can be provided upon request. any kind of proof that will put your mind at ease. just ask and we will provide it.
