Team MAD Stakes
Some discussion was raised today about the idea of a team MAD stake. Where the team of horses would not profit until the entire team SB had been paid. The first reaction to this, as a horse is obviously negative. But some light was shed on the positive aspects of a team MAD stake. Including the possibility of sharing large profits from other teammates. A_Ivanovich, who was the original one to bring up the subject today, has put out a Sunday Mil team stake for four horses. Some of the applicants: cradshark, Sidnoobis, Takethepot, nsinger, pick_six, JustBlazed, pokerismygame, and WEC, along with some other solid horses.
So are team MAD stakes the answer for staking variance in single shot MTTs? There are definitely some good, and some bad to this type of setup. But we’ll have to wait and see how successful it is, and what the process is like before any definitive answers are discovered.
