Bubble Insurance?

So you’re almost in the money of a tourney, but you’re afraid of busting on the bubble, so you tighten up and wait until hand for hand hits. However, if you have bubble insurance, you can start being aggressive before the bubble, and before anyone else knows what you’re doing. This is how bubble insurance is supposed to work. The idea was brought to PTP today by zenman. You give him 10% of the final payout money and if you bubble, he will give you the final payout money. A bubble in this instance is 10% away from the number of spots paid. For example, 40 get paid, you have an allowance of four spots. This is an interesting concept, and one that many members aren’t too sure of. We’ll see in the following weeks if anybody uses it, or if it’s even allowed.
